Bantu FC humiliates LDF FC

Bantu Football Club cemented first position in the premier league game by collecting three points from Lesotho Defence Force.

In the match played at Setsoto stadium on Thursday, May 10, 2018 Bantu humiliating Lesotho Defence Force FC by two goals to zero (2-0).

Bantu player Lazola Jokojokwane who played with confidence scored the first early goal at 11th minute.

From there he made many attempts to increase goals but in vain.

The second goal was netted by Mokone in the second half at 81st minute of the game.

After that goal Bantu put more pressure on LDF. They had many opportunities which they could not effectively utilized.

In an interview with our reporter, Jokojokwane said his team was determined

“We worked very hard” said Jokojokwane.

He said they should enjoy football with the remaining matches.

Lesotho Defence Force FC had more ball possession compared to Bantu. They put pressure from the beginning to the end.

They could not make use of the opportunities they secured. Bantu goal keeper was on holiday.

Thabang Rabi, Tšepo Toloane and Letlatsa Moshoeshoe were goal hungry.

Toloane managed to score the only one goal for LDF at the 58th minute, which was a penalty kick.

Motheo Mohapi LDF head coach said his players are young and lack experience.

He said some of them were in their first appearance in this level.

Mohapi said they needed a senior player Matli Matli at the defence department.

“Matli was not told that he is serving because of the cards he was awarded in prior matches”, said Mohapi.

He admitted his players made some mistakes as a results they were punished.

“They are learning, according to me they did not lose this game.

“But Bantu played very well, congratulations for that”, the LDF coach articulated.

James Madidilane, Bantu head coach said his boys had more spaces on long balls.

Madidilane showed that they told themselves to seat behind the ball always.

As a result they got second balls first.

“It was not about playing good ball, but we needed good results. These three points were very crucial for us in order to win the league”, said Madidilane.

Madidilane said it was a case of tactical awareness and nothing else.

Therefore, it worked for them, because they beat LDF FC and collected maximum points.

Bantu coach who was lifted high by Bantu fans expressed his gratitude that they are 2018 premier league champion.
