Maseru select rugby team plays against Qwaqwa rugby club today on Saturday at Lady Brand Republic of South Africa in a league game.
Mr Morapeli Motaung acting Likatola manager and treasurer of Lesotho Federation of Rugby showed that they will face Qwaqwa for the second round. He said this is a return match and in the first round Lesotho was beaten 32 to 28.
He said they are prepared even though his players seem to be experiencing fatigue.
“They worked hard before the Ghana tournament, every player wanted to go to Ghana for exposure”, said Motaung.
Motaung showed that Lady Brand is their home ground.
“We do not have up to standards rugby facilities in Lesotho, therefore our home ground is in Lady Brand”, said the manager.
He further indicated that other players do not have passports; hence it would not be possible for them to cross to South Africa.
Likatola coach Mr Roy Nyasha Zhou told our publication that they he has got full squad of 23 players. He said he will bring in about six players who did not play in Ghana.
“We are going to play simple rugby”, said Zou.
He ascertained that weakness started when they were scored, hence, they lose hope. But they have improved on that, they will fight back.
Zhou concluded by saying that he has got the young fly half namely Molefi, he is able to get the ball down the line and benefit the team.
