Alliance Insurance Company hosts Alliance Winter Challenge on August 4 and 5, 2918 at Setsoto stadium.
This is the fourth encounter by the giant insurance company in Lesotho.
Lesotho Correctional football club is the 2017 champion.
According to the Alliance Head Group Marketing Corporation Communication Ms Liepollo Tsekoa this event comes at the vital time when the company celebrates its 25th Anniversary serving Basotho in the country.
Lesotho Correctional Service FC, Matlama FC, Lioli FC and Swallows FC will showcase at Setsoto stadium.
LCS, Matlama and Lioli get support from Alliance throughout. Swallows had been invited to be the fourth team.
Tsekoa welcomed Swallows FC in this venture for the first time.
“Swallows is so lucky because came in during the pick of Alliance Insurance, during the 25th Anniversary, therefore special thinks will happen”, said Tsekoa.
Tsekoa said all participating teams would be afforded with football regalia.
“This is the history in the Alliance Insurance Company”, noted Dee.
The manager of LCS Mr Lehlohonolo Matlosa showed his gratitude to Alliance. He said the company supports clubs with transport, meals, trophy and medals.
Matlosa stressed that even though they do not get any funding from the company but the contribution afforded to the teams is tremendous.
Mr Tankiso Moletsane the Comunication and Marketing Manager of Matlama FC said his team is well prepared for this tournament.
In the meantime, Swallows vice president Maama Seeiso said they have snatched all awards from the previous encounters. Therefore they will do the same with winter challenge.
He said his team has started training sessions as preparation strategies.
Lioli manager said since the inauguration of this endevour they have never won it. Mr Hlalele Matobako said this would be the first time chief of Berea sees winter challenge trophy.
Matobako showed that Setsoto stadium would be over crowed with spectators to watch Lioli.

On the following day (05.08.2018) the teams that lost will be at loggerhead with each other for the third position. While those that won play on finals.
The champion will grab the trophy. Then teams will share gate collections equally.
