Traffic and pedestrians flooded Maseru main street Kingsway during the middle of the day when “Econet gives you more festive campaign was launched.
This memorable event showcases the newly introduced M500, 000 Econet Telecom Lesotho products.
ETL acting General Manager Ms ‘Mapusetso Ntšekhe said the festive season is the time for joy and celebration. Therefore, she presented a perfect opportunity to let people know more about Econet’s innovative and value laden products.
The campaign which runs for three months started on November 9, 2018. During this period ETL will be giving away M500, 000 worth of prizes in “Econet gives you more campaign”.
Ms Ntšekhe said data and EcoCash customers would be awestruck with amazing daily, weekly and monthly prizes.
“During the three month period winners will pocket cash prizes, walk away with laptops, smart TVs, cell phones, participate in trolley dashes and win school fees”, said Ntšekhe.
She said data and airtime will be given on daily basis.
“One of the deciding factors to the selection of prizes is the increasing number of scholarship request letters that we receive on daily bases”, she explained.
As a result, they included school fees as one of the prizes in an effort to meet their customers half way.
The criterion used in order to get more from Econet in this campaign, customers must opt in accumulating points by sending “Win” to 65100 or “EcoCash” to 65100 at no cost.
New subscribers are expected to buy and recharge with sk’haftin for the first time and get five points to automatically enter the draw. This can be done through physical voucher, EcoCash and *100#.
For data users one buys a bundle for M10 and more and gets one point. Every M10 gives one point. Points are accumulative throughout the campaign period.
Ms Ntšekhe said free data does not qualify.
She further indicated that existing EcoCash subscribers transact with M10 or more (send money, receive money from anywhere, pay bills and merchant). Likewise M10 gives one point and points are accumulated throughout the campaign.
