Last weekend has been busy for the IPA – Lesotho section. The national committee new and former committee members gathered at Police senior officers mess on January, 25.
The purpose was to hand over by the outgoing committee to the new members. This endevour was professionally performed for the first time in the history of IPA-Lesotho section. This was said by the Secretary General Mr. Thato Mokoteli.
He showed that previously there was no such in the IPA fraternity, therefore, this is an achievement to Lesotho section.
The Vice President Administration Mrs Mamosa Hlao stressed that the outgoing members should know that their expertise and experiences would be highly needed.
“The fact that you are out of the committee does not mean that you are no longer IPA members, whenever the need arises you would be expected to participate effectively”, said Hlao.
The new members of NEC include vice president travel and culture Mrs ‘Masechaba Temeki, national treasurer Mrs ‘Masenate Tšotetsi, vice secretary general Ms Nthabiseng Matekane and the vice president trade Mr Seabata Maepa.
The outgoing members are Mr Clifford Molefe, Mr Tumisang Bereng, Mr Bakoena Sephula and Mr Mofoka Sekhonyana respectively.
On the same day of handing and taking over by NEC on the other part of Maseru at Victoria hotel the super powers Central Region held its successful meeting and the pool party.
The regional chairperson Mr Lefu Thaele said he was humbled by the presence of many Police Headquarters members who came to jubilate with them.
“I wish this could be the beginning of the oneness journey”, concluded Thaele.
