A Matšo Matebele has shown the dominance of the game just after the kickoff as they were pressing Kick4life in their own half and forcing them to commit mistakes.

In a space of five minutes of the first half, Bantu FC took a lead after Litsepe Marabe strike was deflected and found Hlompho Kalake, who curled home from unmarked position.

Old Europa side has never seen much of ball possession in the first half of the game. They just got few goal attempts which were off the target.

However, Kick4life could have leveled the scores in the dying minutes of first half after Bantu’s goal keeper Ntsane Lichaba cleared the ball to his opponent Tšeliso Botsane whose shot was cleared over the line of goal by Tsietsi Khooa.

In the 56th minute of the game Lazola Jokojokwane who substituted Litsepe Marabe doubled the score for Bantu after he got a loose ball from Mokone Marabe.

Sharing his thoughts with the media team, Kick4life coach, Mr. Bob Mafoso said, “Considering the quality of the players, you can tell that Bantu players are the defending Champions.

“In the first 10 to 20 minutes Bantu was in search of another goal but we maintained them, however the truth remains, we never threatened them”.

He also said the second goal which came in the second half was unlike the first goal because Bantu scored while his team was trying to play a better football.

He concluded that they will go back and figure out as to where have they improved as well as to where do they need to improve.

Meanwhile, A Mats’o Matebele’s coach, Mr. James Madidilane said he is happy for three points because they needed it after dropping by two points on their previous game.

“I am happy for three points because we needed them as we dropped two points on last Sunday to make sure that we get the maximum points.

“Fortunately enough we got three points and two goals which is a good run,” he charged.

Bantu FC is sitting on position three in the log, secured 39 points and still having a game in hand. It’s only a space of five points separating Bantu with the log leaders, Matlama FC.

On the other hand, Kick4life remain on position five, tied with Lesotho Defence Force, sharing 31 points.
