The game ended 3-3 for both sides but Bantu FC won 4-3 on penalties booking their spot on semi-finals of the competition.
After the Match, LDF head coach, Mr. Motheo Mohapi said his side played well though he was not happy on how Bantu players were tackling his.
“We played well. Bantu committed most fouls off-ball but they never been booked, the referee just warned them. But when my players commit fouls they were booked,” Mohapi fumed.
Mohapi concluded that Bantu should play a football not people because they don’t defeat them in football.
Meanwhile, Bantu’s head coach Mr. James Madidilane said he is satisfied with the results though his game plan failed.
“We didn’t play according to how we planned but, I am satisfied that we are progressing to the next round,” said Madidilane.
Madidilane explained that he is not happy on how LDF FC players fatally tackled his players. He said LDF players have no right to retaliate if his players tackled them. Madidilane concluded that if there is a foul a referee should come in and make the ruling.
