Maseru United XI Cricket Club grabbed 2019 Championship of Lesotho PostBank National T20 Championship last weekend.
Games took place from the 27 to 28 July, 2019.
United XI snatched M2, 000, trophy and gold medals. Second position became Linare CC and got silver medals and M1, 500. Ajax CC and Mohales’hoek Cannibals CC followed and got M1, 000, bronze medals and M500 respectively.

The tournament was officially opened by the minister of Gender and Youth, Sports and Recreation Dr Mahali Phamotse.
The minister highlighted that cricket is growing and developing in the country. She stated that it was the second time she officiated cricket activities.
Dr Phamotse indicated that she was honoured to have four guests from Free State Cricket Union in the Republic of South Africa.
“I hope our friendship does not end here”, said the minister.
She noted that this collaboration would contribute tremendously in the development of cricket in Lesotho.
Lesotho PostBank National T20 Championship was graced by the presence of four guests from FSCU.
The delegation of FSCU was comprised of Mr Johan van Heerden the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Chippa Selesho Service Manager, Marketing Manager Ms Marina Van De Walt and the Financial Manager Mr Herman Bakkes.
