LeFA media department has issued a statement that informs the nation about the preparations of Lesotho women senior team.
The statement stated:
Please be informed that our Women’s Senior National team-Mehalalitoe has been registered for the 2020 COSAFA Women’s Championship scheduled for 3rd to 14 November in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Mehalalitoe will commence with their preparations for the tournament this Friday (16.10.2020) and they will be the first of Lesotho Football Association’s national teams to make a return to competitive football.
LeFA is confident that Mehalalitoe will lead the way to show the Association’s readiness for the return to competitive football in the country. Our Women’s Senior Team has been out of action for over six months, but must work around the clock to get ready to compete at the regional tournament.
