LeFA authority issued a public statement as follow:
The Lesotho Football Association President (LeFA) Advocate Salemane Phafane (KC) and the Executive Committee, would like to congratulate Kick4life ladies team, who were yesterday crowned champions of the Women’s Super League following a 2-1 victory over LDF Ladies in the final.
The women’s league was played in a new format due to the disruptions brought by the pandemic after the teams came back from the long layoff.
LeFA is also proud in the manner that all the teams were able to comply with the regulations put by the government as well as the association to protect their players and officials against the virus.
It’s also good for women’s football in the country that Kick4life rose to the occasion in the final to stun the LDF Ladies team that has been a dominant force in recent years winning almost every competition on offer.
