“A” Division games suspended

Concerning the prevailing situation of COVID 19 in the country and the globe, “A” Division Management Committee (ADMACO) issued a statement on 20 July 2021.

Following the Circular from the Secretary General of Lesotho Football Association dated the 19th July, 2021 on issues pertaining to all teams being required to undergo Covid 19 testing.

The ADMACO hereby requests that all teams and officials must have tested by Friday the 23rd July, 2021 by the end of business day and a report sent to the LEFA offices.

It should be borne in the minds of all concerned as the letters says, no team will be allowed to play any games under the auspices of the LEFA if they have not undergone testing which is a requirement from the mother body.

I hope you find this in order.

NB: Please remember by testing negative does not mean moving around without a mask and not taking all the necessary precautions which are ; Washing hands with running water and soap for at least 20 seconds, sanitizing, keeping a safe distance between ourselves and always wearing a mask in public places.

In addition, note that prevention is better than curing oneself.

Let us make ourselves to be proud in flattening the curve of COVID 19.

On this basis, the ADMACO has decided to suspend these coming weekends’ games of fixture 13.  Forthwith and a new date will be communicated in due course.
