Lesotho Football Association celebrates with national treasure Boitumelo ‘Queen’ Rabale and Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies.
LeFA president Advocate Salemane Phafane (KC), on behalf of the football fraternity in the Mountain Kingdom, congratulates Lesotho women’s senior national team captain Boitumelo ‘Queen’ Rabale and Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies on winning the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League.
Rabale, who was an unused substitute in the 2-0 win over Ghanaian side Hasaacas Ladies in the final, becomes the first Lesotho footballer to bag the continental medal.
“We are very proud of our women’s national team captain on her success with Mamelodi Sundowns in the inaugural CAF Champions League tournament played in Egypt,” the LeFA President said.
“Rabale is not only a national treasure but a good role model to young female footballers in the country and we wish her more success with the Sundowns Ladies having already lifted her second trophy in just her first year playing for the club.”
