Prominent Lesotho Football Association Assistant Referee Souru Phats’oane will this weekend officiate the Angolan derby as Petro de Luanda take on G.D Sagrada Esperanca in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League clash set for the Luanda Estadio on Friday.
The Lesotho star referee in February, rewrote the history books of football in the region along with the South African duo of Victor Gomes and Zakhele Siwela, becoming the first match officials from Southern Africa to officiate the final of the Africa Cup of Nations.
He will for the match in Angola team-up with the Zambia duo of Janny Sikazwe (Central Referee) and Thomas Kaela (Second assistant) as well as Botswana’s Joshua Bondo as the match (fourth official).
