The Lesotho Women’s Under-17 and Under-20 teams successfully hosted a four-day camp in Mohale’s Hoek, putting to good use the long Easter weekend.
The four-day camp for the two teams started on Thursday, April 13 with 25 players for each team and concluded on Sunday 17.
All the players returned to their respective districts on Monday 18, in order to shift the focus to their academic commitments.
LeFA Women’s Football Coordinator Ms. Joalane Tongoane, said the four-day camp for the two teams was a success following months of scouting across the country.
“This particular camp was for only players that had recently been identified during the country-wide scouting programme headed by the coaches of the Under-17 and under-20 teams,” Tongoane stated.
“The camp was a success because all of the 25 players in each squad honoured the call-up and we thank their parents and clubs for releasing them to be with us during the long Easter Weekend.”
