Likuena striker Katleho Makateng is making good progress after suffering a concussion during Likuena’s last week’s practice match against Namibia.
The speedy forward, who scored 20 goals for Lesotho Defence Force in the Vodacom Premier League, has started light training.
However, is unlikely to feature in Likuena’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Group H opening match against Comoros on Friday.
He missed the two friendly matches against Ethiopia.
Meanwhile, Georgian-based Nkoto Masoabi linked up with the Likuena squad in Ethiopia and will have his first session with the Comoros team on Wednesday.
