The Lesotho Football Association Boys U-17 and U-20 teams will play friendly games against South African Varsity Cup finalist, University of Johannesburg football team (UJ), and Botswana this Saturday and next weekend respectively.
The junior teams left the country on Friday for the practice matches in Johannesburg will be followed by home matches against Botswana next weekend, which will help Makoanyane XI fine-tune their preparations for the upcoming TotalEnergies U-20 AFCON Egypt/ COSAFA qualifiers scheduled for Eswatini from 7th to 16th October.
The Bafokeng Mohapi coached side has been drawn in Group B alongside Angola, Seychelles and defending champions, Mozambique.
