The Lesotho Football Association’s Technical department will on Thursday meet with its stakeholders to unpack the Talent Development Scheme (TDS) after LeFA’s application was approved by the football governing body, FIFA.
LeFA recently hosted FIFA Regional Technical Consultant Mr. Serame Letsoaka, during a five-day working visit, where he was providing information to the Association’s leadership and its Technical department on how the TDS will work and how Lesotho will benefit from it.
The four pillars of support that make TDS are expertise, training, education knowledge sharing and funding.
The Technical Development Scheme (TDS), was launched in January 2020, by FIFA Chief of Global Football Development Mr. Arsene Wenger. The programme aims to provide FIFA’s Member Associations with a thorough analysis of their high-performance ecosystem in both men’s and Women’s football including all the national teams, domestic leagues, scouting projects and academies in order to ensure that every talented player gets the chance to reach full potential.
