The Lesotho Football Association would like to extend its heartfelt condolences to Matlama FC and Bolumatau FC, who are both mourning the death of their players.
Tse Putsoa this week announced the passing of its former midfielder Lebakeng ‘Moscow’ Lebetsa, who also played for the junior national teams as well as the senior national team briefly, where he played in a tournament held in Eswatini over a decade ago.
‘Moscow’, as the midfielder kingpin was popularly known, was never capped for his country in official matches.
Bolumatau, who campaigns in the B Division in the Ts’akholo Zone under DIFA Mafeteng, lost two of its members after the club was involved in a car accident.
“We extend our warm sympathies to the families of these players and we hope the Almighty will give them strength during this difficult period. We also wish all the players injured in the car accident speedy recovery.”
Our game is poor without the departed gentlemen
